About LongITools

LongITools has been studying the interactions between environmental, lifestyle and biological factors to determine the risks of chronic cardiovascular and metabolic diseases. Central to this is the exposome – the integrated compilation of all the physical, chemical, biological and psychosocial factors, and their interactions, which impact biology and health. Rather than focusing on single exposure factors, this broader perspective underscores the importance of considering multiple influences simultaneously. By bringing together the latest findings, lessons learned, and future considerations, LongITools aims to support more integrated policies that foster healthier environments and populations across the life-course.
