Longitudinal Studies Virtual Conference
The Longitudinal Studies conference, organised by the ACSC team at Wellcome Genome Campus, is taking place from 9th to 12th March 2021. This meeting was postponed from April 2020 and will be held as a virtual conference.
Longitudinal studies are ideal tools for studying many things including age-related functional changes, and the development and progression of chronic diseases. This conference will bring together scientists working on studies in childhood, adult and late life to identify novel biomarkers of functional decline and development of disease susceptibility, and to understand the lifetime drivers and underlying pathways of these processes.
The programme will showcase new findings, methods and technologies, contemporary approaches and translational opportunities within and across cohort studies in high, middle and low income countries.
The organising team are still inviting abstracts from all areas relevant to the main themes of the meeting, for both oral and poster presentations. Several oral presentations will be chosen from the abstracts submitted. The abstract deadline is 26 January.
